the wonderful city of Bruges, Belgium
Fist of all what an amazing city! It's so cozy and beautiful.
You don't need more than a day to see this city, taking the Intercity (B line) from Bruxell or Atwerp in the morning and come back at the late afternoon will do. Make sure you take the directest train as possible because instead of 1 hour you can make almost 2 an a half.
When you arrive make sure to go to the city center, there you can rent bicycles and even take a tour in a carriage pulled by a horse, make sure you visit all the gift shops around, because you can find some amazing stuff, like artesan beer, pins, hoodies and the most amazing needlework.
After eating breakfast on the train, we decided to take our 12h snack when we arrived and I ordered a big sized portion of fries with mayo and samurai sauce and after that we got a hot chocolate in "The old chocolate house",and being honest the waffles are not something out of this world but hot chocolate here is definitely a must.
At night the Grand Place is the perfect place to have drink, make sure to order a table in the terrace so you enjoy the view of the old buildings, and don't worry about the season, because in summer time the weather outside is perfect and during the winter the heating system will be working at it's fullest!
Don't be in a hurry, enjoy each building and each store. Bruges is small so you can take time to simply walk around and be a part of this little Belgian city!
To be honest there's not a list of the top 10 things you need to do ìn Bruges, just get there and enjoy every tiny thing!
Now tell me, whats your favorite thing to do in Bruges?
I loved it! It’s always the biggest pleasure for me to travel with you. 😍♥️
